The North America Pastry Championship Returns to New York in 2026 at the Fancy Food Show.

The North America Pastry Championship returns to New York City for its highly anticipated second edition on June 28–29, 2026, at the Javits Center, during the Summer Fancy Food Show; one of the largest specialty food events in North America. This prestigious competition will once again bring together some of the region’s most promising pastry chefs, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation in the art of pastry. 

Organized by the Académie Culinaire de France (ACF), the championship highlights emerging pastry talent while promoting excellence and sustainability in the culinary world.

The North America Pastry Championship provides a unique stage for aspiring pastry chefs to showcase their technical expertise, creativity, and artistic vision. The competition is designed for teams of two professional pastry chefs who are between 22 and 45 years old and have at least three years of experience in the culinary field. 

Applicants must submit an application including a booklet presenting their concept, creativity, and approach to sustainability and culinary heritage. Selected teams will compete in a series of timed challenges that highlight their skills while pushing the boundaries of modern pastry. 

A distinctive aspect of the competition is its commitment to accessibility and sustainability: entry is complimentary and all expenses are covered by the organizer, allowing talented chefs to participate regardless of financial barriers.
